What if gratitude not judgement is the key to change and happiness?
The idea behind gratitude journal is very simple: what we focus on expands. When you focus on gratitude, more of wonderful things to be grateful for show up. It is also a useful tool to gain more life satisfaction, enhance mood and be more aware of all the beautiful gifts your life gives you every day.
Embodying the gratitude of you, allows everything in your life to show up easily. You can begin to embody gratitude by consciously noticing things you are truly grateful for. Whenever you catch yourself doing judgement, you can choose to focus on gratitude instead. What you practice more grows.
Here is how you can do it:
Write down 3-5 things you are grateful for every day. It can be anything you are truly grateful for. Don’t forget to include you as well. Focus on the energy when you’re writing it and how it shifts your mood.
REMEMBER: Be present when you write and do it consciously. Experience an energetic state of gratitude as you’re writing it.
Your Invitation to more gratitude:
I was never much of a diary writer myself and for that reason gratitude diary ended up being one of the tools I was avoiding to try. But I also got to the point where I really desired change. This exercise is actually short and simple, so I gave it a shot. I love the results, it uplifted my mood the same day. Thinking about things I am grateful for makes me happy and gratitude comes faster and more naturally in different situations during the day. It got easier to notice small things I am grateful for.
